EquiJob: Using AI to Balance Bias in Job Descriptions

Despite strides in diversity, global employment discrimination persists. Unconscious biases infiltrate job descriptions; words like ‘dominant’ deter women, while ‘collaborative’ dissuades men. In this project with Omdena Toronto, Canada Chapter, Our goal is to employ NLP for creating an AI tool to counter bias in job descriptions.

SmartGuide:Empowering Canada's Immigration Applicants with Accurat AI Chatbot Assistance

This project with Omdena Toronto, Canada Chapter is designed to provide precise and timely information for Canadian immigration applicants, simplifying the process and paving the way for their dreams. SmartGuide is not just a chatbot, but an intricate blend of advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP), machine learning algorithms, and data analysis.

Image Captioning Model

The main goal of this project is to improve accessibility for the visually impaired individuals by providing a comprehensive understanding of image content through generated captions. To achieve this, the project utilizes deep learning techniques like LSTM and CNN, as well as embeddings for text representation.

Subreddit Classification with NLP Techniques

This project aims to present an approach for utilizing NLP techniques to extract features from the text data and determine the most accurate algorithm for predicting the subreddit based on the content of the post.

Music Genre Classification

The objective of this project is to develop an accurate music genre classification model that can handle large-scale datasets and generalize well to new, unseen songs. This will involve exploring various machine learning algorithms, delivering a high-performing model fo music recommendation system.
